Create a room on demand with controlled owner actions.
Prepare the hub
Temporary voice is a Premium module. Select the join-to-create hub, destination category and supported limits in the dashboard. Ensure the bot can view the hub, connect and manage the necessary channels.
The member experience
A member joining the configured hub can receive a temporary room. The room’s owner can use supported /voice controls. The owner does not gain general server administration rights.
Review category permissions
Voice privacy depends on category and channel overwrites. Test whether ordinary members, the room owner and moderators can see and join the room as intended. Do not assume a room is private solely because it is temporary.
Use sensible limits
Choose channel/user limits appropriate to the community. Creation still depends on Discord permissions and platform limits. The dashboard rejects unsupported values.
Test the lifecycle
Create a room with a normal account, exercise the owner controls and test what happens when everyone leaves. Inspect logs and saved configuration if channels are not being managed as expected.
