Design a personal welcome, from a simple message to an advanced banner.
Choose a message format
Open Welcome & goodbye, enable welcome messages and select the destination channel. Normal text and Discord Embeds are Free. Premium adds Discord Containers. These are native Discord layouts, so message typography and spacing are controlled by the Discord client.
Bring your own background
Enable the banner and upload a static PNG, JPEG or WebP up to 3 MB and 16 megapixels. Direct public HTTPS image URLs are also supported on port 443; redirects and private/local addresses are rejected. Sanitised images are stored with the server, with up to 20 assets per server. Delete unused images through the library controls.
Align the member avatar
The final banner is 1200×500. Premium users can drag the circular avatar or enter precise X/Y percentages. Avatar diameter is a percentage of banner height. A circle centred at pixel (600,200) uses X=50 and Y=40; a 140px diameter uses size=28. Position is clamped so the image remains inside the banner. Use a background with the same aspect ratio to avoid unwanted cropping.
Variables and branding
Use {user}, {username}, {server} and {membercount}. The older {memberCount} spelling also works. Banner headings and subtitles support these variables. Free designs include server/PrynBot branding. Premium can replace or remove the footer and control fonts, sizes, colours, text anchors and avatar borders.
Preview, save and test
The draft reacts immediately; the actual rendered image follows after a short editing pause. Save before testing a real member join. Confirm the destination, attachment permissions and role hierarchy. Premium expiry restores the standard presentation while retaining stored advanced design values for renewal.
